Notes on flavour and bouquet
On the nose and on the palate, flavors and aromas that characterize the grape varieties of the wine, blend in a sinuous dance. From the pear and almond milk of Friulano, to the white flowers and citrus scents of Ribolla Gialla, passing through the intriguing notes of mint and white thorn of Malvasia up to a delicate closing of the bouquet that recalls the honeycomb full of honey produced with all the Picolit wildflowers. The subtle and delicate presence of minerality in this wine makes it very complex and elegant.
Pairing suggestion
versatile wine that adapts to different situations: from pairing with cold appetizers, fish salads, crudités to cold cuts such as San Daniele ham and lard. Excellent with fish or herb-based risottos up to baked fish with potatoes or simply salted cooked.
Vinification
Rapes, all of them hand-picked, are gently crushed. The must extracted is then transferred to 15 HL Austrian acacia barrels where both fermentation and, subsequently, refinement sur lies are carried out for the next 12 months.
The wine is then bottles and further refined inside the bottle.
